These terms explain the rules for using www.patrickjfox.com and the content available through it.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website.
1. About PJ Fox Coaching

In these terms, “PJ Fox Coaching”, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to Patrick Fox trading as PJ Fox Coaching. “You” means anyone using the website.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the website and its publicly available content, including blog posts, podcast pages, transcripts, videos, downloads, worksheets and free resources.
Submitting an enquiry, completing an application or booking an introductory call does not create a coaching relationship or require either of us to work together.
Coaching bookings and payment
Coaching is not available for general purchase through this website.
After an introductory call, if we agree that coaching is the right next step, I will send you a separate Coaching Agreement and a private payment link.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the introductory call and any initial discussion do not create a coaching contract. Before making payment, you must read and accept the Coaching Agreement.
Your booking is confirmed once you have accepted the Coaching Agreement and your payment, or first agreed instalment, has been successfully received.
The Coaching Agreement will set out the services included, fees, payment schedule, cancellation and rescheduling arrangements, confidentiality, and the responsibilities of both parties. If there is any conflict between these Website Terms and the Coaching Agreement concerning your coaching services, the Coaching Agreement will take priority.
Your right to cancel
If you enter into the Coaching Agreement as a consumer at a distance, you have the legal right to cancel it within 14 days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period begins on the day the coaching contract is formed. To cancel, email [email protected] with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
If you ask for coaching to begin during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel, you will be charged a reasonable and proportionate amount for any coaching services already provided. Any remaining balance will be refunded in accordance with your statutory rights.
Your statutory cancellation right will end if the coaching service is fully delivered during the cancellation period, provided that you expressly requested the service to begin and acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost once the service had been fully performed.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
PJ Fox Coaching services are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
3. What you can expect from PJ Fox Coaching
I aim to:
- Describe my services honestly and clearly;
- Create and maintain website content with reasonable care;
- Deliver any agreed coaching service with reasonable care and skill;
- Treat clients with respect and without judgement;
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries;
- Protect personal and confidential information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and any coaching agreement;
- Be honest when someone may need medical, mental health or other specialist support outside the scope of coaching; and
- Respond fairly to questions, concerns or complaints.
Nothing in these terms removes my responsibility to provide an agreed paid service professionally or affects your statutory rights.
4. Coaching and medical support
The website, podcast, emails, downloads and other public content are provided for general information, education and personal reflection.
They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, addiction treatment or emergency support. They should not replace care from a GP, qualified healthcare professional, mental health professional or specialist alcohol service.
PJ Fox Coaching does not provide medical detox or clinical addiction treatment.
If you think you may be physically dependent on alcohol, seek medical advice before stopping or significantly reducing your alcohol use. Stopping alcohol suddenly can be dangerous for someone who is physically dependent.
Call 999 or go to A&E if you or someone else experiences severe withdrawal symptoms, including severe shaking, confusion, hallucinations or seizures.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger or unable to stay safe, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent mental health support in England where there is no immediate danger, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.

5. A shared responsibility
Coaching is a collaborative process.
My role is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental space, skilled coaching, appropriate challenge, practical tools and accountability within the scope of the service we agree.
I am responsible for delivering that service with reasonable care and skill. You are responsible for your participation, the information you choose to share, your decisions and the actions you take between sessions.
I cannot guarantee a particular result because progress is personal and affected by many factors outside either person’s control. Testimonials and client stories describe individual experiences and do not promise that you will achieve the same outcome.
This does not remove my responsibility to provide the agreed service professionally and in accordance with your legal rights.
6. Using the website and its content
You are welcome to use the website and its free resources for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Unless stated otherwise, the original content is owned by or licensed to PJ Fox Coaching. This includes articles, podcast materials, videos, audio, graphics, branding, frameworks, worksheets, downloads and other resources connected with PJ Fox Coaching, The Alcohol ReThink Podcast and the Alcohol ReThink Method.
Without written permission, you must not:
- Copy or republish substantial parts of the website or its resources;
- Sell, distribute or commercially exploit the content;
- Share paid, private or members-only materials;
- Present my content, frameworks or resources as your own;
- Use the content to create competing commercial resources; or
- Use automated tools to systematically scrape or reproduce the website.
You may share a link to a public page or podcast episode as long as you do so accurately and do not suggest an endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
Content belonging to podcast guests or other third parties remains the property of its respective owner.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the website unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, interfere with the website or another person’s use of it, submit abusive or misleading material, or impersonate another person.
I may restrict access where I reasonably believe the website, its users or the business may be at risk.
You remain responsible for information you submit through forms, applications or email. Sending feedback or suggestions does not automatically transfer ownership of them to PJ Fox Coaching. I may use them to respond to you, operate the business and improve my services.
8. Accuracy and availability
I take reasonable care when creating and updating website content. However, public content is general and may not be complete or suitable for your individual circumstances.
You should check important information with an appropriate qualified professional before relying on it, particularly where it concerns your health, safety, legal rights or finances.
I may update, remove or change content at any time. I aim to keep the website available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that it will always be free from technical errors.
9. Third-party services
The website may link to podcast platforms, booking systems, payment providers, social media or other third-party services.
I do not control those services and am not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean that PJ Fox Coaching endorses the third party or has a commercial relationship with it.
Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and policies.

11. Responsibility and liability
PJ Fox Coaching remains responsible for delivering paid services in accordance with the relevant coaching agreement and with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
For the free, general content available on the website, PJ Fox Coaching is not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
- Treating general information as personal medical or professional advice;
- Decisions made without obtaining appropriate professional support;
- Misuse of the website or its resources;
- Third-party websites or services; or
- Events outside my reasonable control.
If you use the website for business purposes, PJ Fox Coaching is not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from the use of free website content.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms when the website, services or law changes. The latest version will be posted here with the date it was updated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter a separate coaching agreement already entered into with you.
13. Governing law and concerns
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available where you live and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
